Any make, any age, any condition. This is what we buy.

If it has four wheels and a chassis number, we will almost certainly make an offer. Running cars are priced on resale. Everything else is priced on parts and weight.

A tired red hatchback with peeling paint and a flat rear tyre in a carport

A well-used white ute with a scratched tray and mud on the wheel arches

Utes

Utes hold value even when they are tired, because parts demand never drops. Blown head gaskets, dead diffs, rusted trays and 400,000 km odometers are all still worth real money to us.

Most common
Hilux, Navara, Ranger, Triton, Colorado
Example offer
$600 to $6,000 depending on condition
An older silver van with faded paint and a dent in the sliding door on a suburban street

Vans

Ex-courier, ex-trade and ex-campervan. We take them with the shelving still bolted in and the sign-writing still on. Sliding doors that do not slide are fine.

Most common
Hiace, Caravan, Vito, Transit, Delica
Example offer
$400 to $5,000 depending on condition
A dark green 4WD with faded roof rails and a cracked tail light beside a bush track

4WDs and SUVs

Big, heavy and full of parts people want. Rusty chassis rails, failed transfer cases and cracked heads do not put us off. Family SUVs with high kilometres too.

Most common
Prado, Pajero, Patrol, Territory, Outlander, CX-5
Example offer
$500 to $6,000 depending on condition
An older white light truck with a rusty flat deck parked in an industrial yard

Light trucks

Flat decks, tippers, box bodies and cab chassis up to about 6 tonne. If it is bigger than that, call and we will tell you whether we can collect it.

Most common
Isuzu Elf, Hino Dutro, Canter, Dyna
Example offer
$800 to $8,000 depending on condition
A grey sedan with a crumpled front end and shattered headlight in a residential driveway

Written off and damaged

Crash damage, flood damage, fire damage, and insurance write-offs you have kept. We price what is left: the good panels, the drivetrain, the interior, the weight.

We handle
Statutory and insurance write-offs, non-rollers
Example offer
$150 to $2,500 depending on what survived

Condition does not disqualify a car

We hear "nobody else will take it" most weeks. These are all normal for us.

  • No roadworthy certificateNever had one is fine
  • Unregistered or rego expiredPlates handed back too
  • Rego cancelled years agoWe still buy for parts and scrap
  • No keysWe bring a winch and a dolly
  • Does not startFlat battery to seized engine
  • Does not rollLocked brakes, missing wheels
  • Flood or fire damagedPriced on what survived
  • Rust in the chassis or sillsFailed roadworthy on rust is common
  • Parts already removedTell us what is missing
  • Full of belongings or rubbishClear what you want to keep
  • Stuck down a driveway or in a garageSend a photo of the access
  • Deceased estateWe can work with the executor

Two things we cannot do

We cannot buy a car you do not have the right to sell, and we cannot buy from under 18s. If the registered owner has died, or the car is in someone else's name, tell us up front. There is usually a way through with the right paperwork, and we will explain it before anyone books a truck.

Not sure if yours counts? It almost certainly does.

Send the plate or a photo and a real person will tell you what it is worth to us.
